another potential issue could be that the LED he's using is not dimmable

3.8W load is way below the minimum load . you need the bypass to be able to use simmer with such a low load
-
it could be one of the switches is faulty.. when pressed it might "bounce" which shelly detect as another press thus turning off

Hello devil,
yes, I mean Switching off, alternatively
is it possible to deactivate the wifi? so that the device behaves like a very common mechanical switch?
Thank you
Regards
Lorenzo
you can turn off wifi.. (untick it..) but not sure why would you want that.. If you turn it off you will loose access to it and wont be able to get onto it without factory resetting.. if you are going to do that then enable AP and if you want to set password to the 1pm broadcasted wifi.. that way you can connect directly to it to enable wifi again

Hi everyone..
Have issue with one of dimmers . It started dropping out of network .. first time it happened it came back online after power cycling. and it was fine for few months.. after that it started happening once a week.. then couple of times per week.. and as of few days it will drop after only hour or so.. .. In the same location i have two other dimmers (its a 3 gang switch plate) and other two are working fine. It does respond when using a switch (turns lights on/off and dimms)
On my search i came across shelly 2.5 with capacitor issue.. where it would be dropping out of wifi.. which is exactly the same issue i'm having
could dimmer 2 have same capacitor problem???
I did try firmware updates / flushed several times.. even factory reset.. no fix...
any help would be appreciated

can do it this way.. on motion send http command to toggle plus 1pm
in http you just enter the toggle http command ie.. http://192.168.X.X/relay/0?turn=toggle

Just updated all my shelly to v13 .. no issues whatsoever..
-
why dont you put all switches in parallel connection.. and use only one switch setup?? that one you will have single phase across all three switches (same phase)

Interesting.. I've got unifi and had no issues with shelly updating.. perhaps your unifi firewall is blocking traffic (i've got threat management disable on mine) it could be that security or country restriction is on .. thus blocking the update..

I'm not sure about TRV. but I'm running pure unifi network.. UDM PRO with several access points.. 90% of my house automation is shelly.. comprising of dimmers, switches and .. got EM3 installed too.. in total about 15 shelly devices plus other ones... all running absolutely fine..
I've separated my 2.4GHz wifi as individual ssid.. as originally I had some problems with Ring dropping out when on wifi.. as it was trying to go onto 5Ghz spectrum.. once that is done.. all shelly , ring and other smart devices which run on 2.4Ghz have been rock solid..

Had one with the issue.. ended up opening it.. the rubber part was pushed too hard and popped out.. just realigned it and popped it back in.. works fine since then..

So putting 1 x 3EM onto the main lines will give me both grid usage and feed back to grid?? Does it show as a negative value or actually recognises power going the other way and showing those values separately.. (been looking through internet but could not find any example)
Thank you

Hi guys
I'm wondering how to achieve this
house is connected to 3phase grid.. so reading grid power consumption could be achieved easily with shelly 3EM
but i would like to read feeding back to grid from solar.. which is single phase..
what is the best way to achieve that.. get shelly EM?? but where do I attach it to???

not sure why 1L needs bypass anyway.. its just an on / off relay... bypass is useful in dimmers when load is too small but for on/off relay like 1L i dont think its needed anyway.. unless i'm missing something
