I had something similar, not to that extreme but close.
I have a lot of Shelly devices what I am looking at is either power or wifi signal.

I upgraded to the beta firmware v 20210312-134025/v1.10.0-rc5-g1c546b5
I noticed on the actions settings a new entry "report sensor values." I think this is a new feature if so can I get a link to more information on the feature?
The way I was able to get it to show up was enabling MQTT pictured below. I am just beginning with home automation and I have not set up MQTT yet. It is on the list of things to learn.
Once I checked the box HA detected the device and I was able to import.
What throws me is I did not have to enable MQTT on any of my other devices. One of the things I like about Shelly is working right out of the box. Hopefully this will help someone.
I was out when I returned HA detected the motion sensor and when I attempt to configure this is the error. It is the same error if I attempt to add manually.
The IP Address is correct.
I just got the new shelly motion a couple of days ago, I am having an issue connecting it to my home assistant.
I have multiple other shelly devices including a PM1 several bulbs and the door and window, they all work as expected.
When I attempt to add the motion sensor the error message is "failed to connect." I am using the correct IP (I am connected in a different tab) and my firmware version 20210226-072307/v1.1.0@f31e1d2b. The device is on the same network as the other devices, later today I may try and move it to a different wireless network and see if that makes a difference.
Also I can connect via web browser and the shelly app.
Any ideas am I missing something?
