I do not manage to add a Shelly Plug S.
What I do is the following:
- I plug the Plug S and it flashes blue (more or less once per second)
- I open my Shelly app and click on the top right menu and choose Add Device
- I enter my wifi sid and password then Continue
- The app shows my Plug S device
- I select it and click yes when asked if I want to add it to my Wifi network
- I get a message telling me that the connection was successful (to the device AP with the it 192.168.33.2/24), asking device to join my wifi
- I get a message telling that the device was included to my wifi
- I then click Finished
- I get a message on the top of the app telling me that the inclusion was completed
- I then go to my only room and click Add devices
- At this point the list of my Discovered Devices is empty
I do not see the device on my home network (no new IP is allocated)
The Plug S flashes at the same speed than before (more or less once per second)
But its AP wifi is turned off
I have restarted all this from scratch factory resetting the Plug S.
I saw in a previous discussion that the problem was an IP conflict. But here I do not see the Plug S on the network.
My Wifi is 2.4Ghz.
What I am doing wrong?
What is the maximum length of the wifi password a shelly device supports?
What could be the problem?
