Got a new vintage light and after enabling cloud via the http portal, my Alexa doesnt see it.
When I open the shelly app, it says under the cloud section that "Device is already owned by another user".
Using latest firmware.

I'm not so sure I appreciate the vibe in your comment
Sorry 66er, I've been using shelly for less than 2 weeks now with several bulbs and sensors and had to open 3 tickets, a bit frustrating.
1 issue is unresolved (this one - and I spent lot of my time on this debugging/installing firmwares for you guys), 1 issue was confirmed to be a bug and another I was able to resolve by myself after resetting the device 4 times (worked on the 4th time).

Was told to send back the sensor, who knows whether the replacement will have the same issue or not.
-
I've also opened a ticket, supplied /status, /settings, /debug and there's nothing there. Your logs are not showing errors other than the error I posted here.
I'd be happy to install a new firmware that has extra debug information.

opened a ticket. thx

It would be really helpful if you pointed me to a URL where i can actually do that...

Hi,
I wanted to increase the security of the devices so I logged into each of the bulbs and set an admin user + password. After I did that, I noticed that the shelly app was no longer able to tunr on/off the bulb or change any settings. When I did that with my shelly motion sensor, i was still able to change settings. Once i removed the admin user password, the app returned to function.
This seems like not the behavior I was expecting. I thought the shelly app had some internal power user (not admin) and me setting the username wouldnt matter.
Two solutions: 1. You fix this in the same manner the motion sensor works.
2. I create a user that is not admin? dont want to do that to be honest, then i need to save it somewhere.

Tried again and again lux sensor stopped working. Reverted and it's ok again. Please do your QA.
-
do you have some release notes for v2? what does it improve?
-
so i downgraded and it's working fine again. The lux sensor changes in real time and i can use it again. Firmware issue...
-
how do I downgrade to a previous version?

This error appears in most of the log.

I've updated today to firmware 20210919-083708/v2.0.0@aeef8816.
I'm now getting a constant 0 lux detection even when it's in bright light. All way ok prior to the firmware update today. It takes about 10 minutes of bright light to get a lux change. Sometimes it changes and sometimes it doesnt not. It's very random. It was working fine yesterday.
I Tried to reboot but still getting 0 lux. This sensor has become useless to me as i wanted it to turn the lights on when it's dark (i set it to lux 15 in my apartment).
What do I do?
Thanks.

Hi,
So i've got a motion sensor and a shelly light. If i create a shelly scene that when a motion is detected the bulb will light. It works. I deleted it and wanted to connect the motion device to Alexa.
I was able to add the motion sensor to my devices and it even get updated whenever there's a motion. I wanted to create a routine where when it has a motion detected, it will light the bulb. This just doesnt work, the routine is never triggered! The device in the alexa app shows me a motion is detected but the routine is not run!
I even tried the virtual trick i saw on your youttube channel. didnt work either.
I tried a factory reset for the motion sensor, tried to remove the shelly cloud skill and re-enable, discovered devices again.. nothing, it just doesnt work. I'm very disappointed
BTW, I'm from Israel if that matters for some reason as it's not a "formal" Alexa country, but all my other devices work just fine with Alexa: lifx, tp link, tuya etc.
Never had such a problem with any of my smart devices in Alexa.. this is the first one that just doesnt work.
