I've come across the "Post" method a few times, but I don't see how? application? Or do I just use an html page with a script in it? A full example would be helpful.

ok,

Instead of the inter ip address (192.168...) the external internet ip address.

For my cameras I use port forwarding, but for Shelly I see no possibility to open a port.

I only use the web page on my local PC, so there is no danger there.

Is it possible to make an "external" url for a Shelly Dimmer 2 that I can integrate into a web page.

I just wish to put a switch on my page (next to camera streaming) to turn the lights on and off.

Shelly cloud is installed and working well.
