I see. I figured that I have to use some other account. (3rd account already - one for the shop, one for the cloud data, and one for the forums)

Unfortunately I haven't written down my credentials for the cloud data account. In order to find what email did I use for that I started the app on the old phone but it doesnt say what's the mail, it just gives me the possibility to change the mail.

In the end I remembered what is the correct email address and I reset its password and I logged in the app.

However - my proposition for improvement is the app to show somewhere which mail is used to log in. Some another forgetful client (as myself) not remembering the correct email addres could see what is the correct mail and help himself without issuing tickets and writing here.

    Thanks

I tried that before, same erorr message.

However I noticed something now - although the mobile app says Error, the webUI of the device shows that the Cloud is in fact enabled.

The data chart in the app however is still empty and the log still contains: "Connect to cloud: -8 / Cloud connection 0x3fff29a4 closed". So it seems that it struggles to connect.

I tried these steps many times, with restart of the app, from mobile data internet and from wifi internet

After restart of the app I wait very long time until buttons for Internet/Security become visible. When they become visible I click Enable Cloud, and then I see the above mentioned message.

Ah, I see now, no, it was not done this way, my mistake, may be this difference needs to be explicitly emphasized.

Nevertheless, I tried to do it now - disabled it through WebUI and when I tried to enable it through the mobile app - it waited some time and then it showed me a message with red footer stating that "This device has not reached the cloud yet! Please, ensure the device is powered and your WiFi network has Internet access!"

I did exactly that - the device is powered and connected to the WiFi, my network has Internet access. My phone also has Internet access.

I wonder how would it be possible to turn on the cloud of the device from the Cloud since it is turned off?

Thank you Stefan but I already did that and even said that above ;)

The first thing I did was to search through the forum.

The things get even weirder - already 4 days I have no data in the cloud BUT the cloud android app shows some current power consumption. Alas no historical data.

I rebooted the device many times.

the icons at the top of the screen (when I connect directly through http to the device) say "Trying to establish connection to cloud" and "Connected to WiFi network"

    Hi guys, several days already

    - I see the device as OFFLINE on the my.shelly.cloud

    - device is connected to WiFi

    - I browse its web interface

    - if I turn off and then on - the cloud is there but for limited time

    - I tried the Disable Cloud option and then enabled it - did not help

    - I have lost data - one day appears empty on the chart

    - the device worked a year without a problem

    - the log says:

    Code
    149685655 cloud_aes.c:256 Connect to cloud: -8
    149690048 cloud_aes.c:425 Cloud connection 0x3fff29a4 closed
    149695332 cloud_aes.c:139 Reconnect after 15000
