I've decided for Shelly Plus 2PM.
Dear Shelly community,
What is main advantage of
over
With other words - why would one want to buy one over another?
Thanks for your answers in advance!
Dear Shelly community,
I am looking into various curtain motors and wondering whether this motor would be a good match to pair with Shelly 2.5:
The motor is Doja DT82TV (in case additional information is needed).
Also I wonder whether it's possible to make use of obstacle detection with this motor like demonstrated in Official Shelly video:
Side question:
- What kind of curtain motor would be the best match for Shelly 2.5 from the compatibility POV if not the one listed above?
- Does anyone know which curtain motor was used in the demonstrational video above?
Thank you for all suggestions in advance.
Thanks for fast response.
That's awesome news.
So if I understand it right the analog input is marked with ADC_INPUT (PIN-3) on the "Lexicon" you've shared above:
[Blockierte Grafik: https://smarthome-forum.eu/index.php?attachment/24649-shelly-analog-input-png/]
Would then connecting the wind speed sensor to PIN 2 (?GND?) and PIN 3 (ADC_INPUT) work out of the box?
Is it then possible to set some action at the certain voltage directly from the Shelly Cloud (UI) Android application?
Side question:
Are these official User manuals:
Hi dear Shelly community,
What would be the most straight forward way of coupling Shelly UNI with (if any):
DIY Wind speed sensor (AliExpress)
... to fire up some action when certain wind speed (Voltage) is reached?
I've noticed that Shelly UNI has only digital inputs which makes me think there is no way of performing some action based on the certain input voltage (or am I missing something)?
Thanks for any helpful tips or answers in advance!
Side notes:
- Please note that my electrical engineering knowledge is limited so some easy to understand explanations would be really appreciated.
- This is not advertisement for the product above - the thing is it's the only one I could find for a moderate price.
