Well, my initial idea is to use the LED OFF while the momentary switch is being pressed ON, as a simple indicator that the door open command has been sent.

Once you have confirmed that my simple initial idea is feasible, I will start testing it.

However, I thought I understood in your final question that there is a possibility that the Shelly1 Receiver can "transmits" its change of state (from 2 to 4 seconds activating the door opening electromagnet) to the Shelly1 Transmitter.

If your answer is yes, I will be very happy but I will leave this second functionality for when the first one works. At 72 years old, I have to go step by step.

I wait your last answer and once again, thank you for your attention and your time.

    Hi, SebMai,

Excuse my terrible English, what I'm really doing is a momentary switch to turn a Shelly1 into an illuminated transmitter to operate a gateway (equipped with another Shelly1 as a receiver). I intend to have up to 3 points with an illuminated Shelly1 transmitter.

I have a momentary pushbutton equipped with a circular LED and I want to connect it to a Shelly so that it performs the following functions:

Momentary push button OFF, LED ON (so the box is visible even in the dark)

Momentary button ON, LED OFF (this makes it clear that the button has been pressed)

For this I would need pins "0" and "I" to act together with the "SW" terminal. (Alexa would only serve to accept spoken commands).

(I think the connections in the diagram are correct).

I will be grateful if you can confirm that the Shelly1 can function as a transmitter and an LED switch, simultaneously. (Switch and LED are set to 220VAC)

    Hi to all,

I want to change my 7 Shellys2.5, 4 Shellys1 and 1 Shelly Dimmer to a new WiFi. I enter the name and password of the new WiFi, press next and a static window appears in which nothing works.

I press the tick symbol: Nothing happens!

I Press the plus symbol: Nothing happens!

    What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for you time an your attention,

P.S. By the way, in the comfortable application https://my.shelly.cloud/?#dashboard, in the "Settings" menu the option "Add device" does not appear, therefore, I have not been able to test if it is a failure in the Android App

    Hi to all,

I have a Shelly1 as a door opener in my new video doorbell installation, controlled by Amazon Alexa:

Recently, I have seen a connection scheme in which one Shelly acts as a receiver and another as a transmitter (Shelly1 mounted on a Shelly Button) but I have not found any explanation except the brief comment that appears in the figure:

    I have two doubts:

    a) Where can I find information on the interconnection of a receiving Shelly and one or more transmitting Shellys?

    b) I need to purchase at least 3 other Shellys but I have not been able to know the differences between Shelly1 and Shelly1V3 and, therefore, which one would be the most suitable for my design?

Thank you for your attention and your time.
