One of my EM3 has constantly shown 0 V and 0 A even I have given some real loads to measure but nothing has helped. Swapping it out solved the problem.

Now I have almost working device on my hands. Are there any HW debugging hints like what signals test points are and how to power up them safely? I don't want to give full reverse engineering treatment to it just to fix it.

My guess is ADC power or communication between ESP and ADC

I'll fix this if the problem is simple and easy and throw away if it doesn't solve poking with multimeter, scope and soldering iron.

For me this is a network problem. I look this from my router and wonder how to do this. Please move to correct area if it is totally wrong.

    My setup is:

    9 pro PM4. 3x3 phase configuration 3 shelly EM3

Dedicated WLAN and VLAN with hole poked to firewall (OpenBSD) for firmware update. So they have safe corner in network.

So far everything is good, nice and OK. However as everything is metered, there are very dangerous switches like fridge, freezer and so on which can cause bad things to happen if those circuits are turned off but are really interesting to measure.

I'm not worried that much some cracker getting my network but more something like own stupidity to bite from unexpected direction. But if I expose everything to home assistant' it can access everything.

At least I couldn't find anything really useful to filter out flipping those switches. Has anyone seen some filter or mapper or similar project?

    Hello everyone,

I'm building a system where I'll also put about 20 shellies to IoT network. That network won't see any light of internet. My plan is to nightly scrape the web for update and then mirror that and fire up the update when I'm next to system ready to give some love and care.

I'll have Pro 4 PM and EM3 devices. I have already found some URLs from this forum, but couldn't find for example the newest FW which is already installed from them. And the automate for FW is for older devices.

So what's the correct URL pattern to stay in newest stable?
