Thank you Seven of Nine and rallyecom

It seemed easy enough, but then I got the bad idea of testing the connection without reassembling the plug and that left the europlug stuck in the S-Plug since it will sit much deeper this way and the connecting surfaces edges somehow is locked by the copper clamps...

So don’t do it like that Limeliz

I'll see if i'll cut the cord and crush the europlug with a pair of bolt cutters or something to save the S-Plug.

Today I unpacked my first order of Shelly devices.

Starting with a Shelly Plug S, I connected it to an outlet and a small desk-lamp.

After establishing the wi-fi connection to the plug, I could hear the plug relay switching on and off when toggling the status in the webapp, but my lamp was dark no matter what.

At first I thought the small LED was too weak to trigger the relay but when I tried something more powerful like a sewing machine I noticed that it was in fact a huge wiggle room that made the europlugs on these two devices loose their connection to the plug.

Here is a video to clarify

Is this really what to expect from these S-plug, or have I encountered a bad apple?
