Thank you!
Edit:That didn't work. I had to wire 12V trigger voltage to ANALOG IN & GND on UNI to make it work.
Thank you!

Thank you! How should trigger cable be wired to Uni? (+) to IN-1 and (-) to GND?
Hi to all,
is there any Shelly relay(?) suitable for sensing 12V trigger voltage as found on HiFi equipment (so called Trigger out port). I have a preamplifier with TRIGGER OUT and would like to power ON/OFF three other devices in my stereo setup. Other three devices are plugged in Shelly smart plug and are lacking TRIGGER IN ports. For example:
- When preamp is powered on-> 12V are detected on TRIGGER OUT -> Relay (?) senses the voltage -> Relay (?) turns Shelly smart plug on
- When preamp is powered off-> 0 or lower voltage is detected on TRIGGER OUT -> Relay (?) senses no/lower voltage -> Relay (?) turns Shelly smart plug off
I have some Shellys 1 laying around, could I use them for this? Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you kindly for your reply, i have just tried it with the power lead attached, but unfortunately nothing still. However once the blue LED went off and the shelly wifi went off, something different happened. the LED's flashed multi colour '3 times' then no LED's now showing. I can see it has been assigned and IP-address in my router (See Picture 1) of 192.168.1.160, but it still cannot be found by the Shelly app in 'Discovered Devices', and cannot 'PING' this address.
The Tamper/Movement LED flashing still works (Multi Flashing), but there is no RED LED to detect motion, and now NO lights at all??
Do i have a faulty unit??
Thank you kindly again Sir
Steve
Hi,
Did you solve this? I have exactly the same problem. Ordered 3 Shelly motions, 2 of them were configured and added to my network without any issues. Third one is behaving like yours. Did the resets, reboots, factory resets, setting it up in app, setting it up thru AP, tried to add it by IP address. Nothing helped.
But I suspect these are NOT faulty units! -> I tinkered this morning with the third one for the last time before sending it back to the seller and somehow by mistake tempered with one of the good ones directly at it's IP address configuration page. Now I have 2 faulty units! This last one I broke by tempering was at first still visible in app but it no longer reported the movements. Now its offline.
