Ok I looked back at the current setup and you are correct in that there are only 3 wires going to the pump (ground plus 2 live). Now that we have that determined, was my description of your sketch correct? Also where would I attach the snubber?

    Thanks again

Thank you for the quick response. To make sure I understand, I will wire the first hot to L1. I will wire the second hot to N and also continue on to the load. Finally I will wire the O1 to the load. The incoming neutral appears to be terminated prior to the relay in your drawing, so I assume you are saying to just cap if off (although I believe it is wired into the pump in the current configuration). I will not have any external switch at this time, so I left that out of the description. Does that sound correct so far?

I understand I also need to include an RC Snubber give that the load is a motor/pump. Where would I make those connections?

Does this setup mean I will not be able to also power a 115v device in the L2-L4 inputs of the relay (aka all devices on the relay must be 230v once I wire in this manner)?

    Thanks again!!!

I'm in the US and looking to control a 230v pump using the Shelly Pro 4PM. The current wiring has ground, neutral, and two 115v hot wires, as I believe this is how 230v is wired in North America. I am unclear as to how I should wire the Pro 4PM given it only expects a single wire for either 115v or 230v.

    Thanks
