    Hi Guys,

I had some electrician install a couple of Shelly Dimmer 2, but I believe they did the wiring wrong.

I want to try to install the Shelly 1L can anybody tell me the correct wiring for the unit in an Australia household. Some will have Neutral Wire some wont. The switch is a push button switch shown below.

    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for yesterday, To follow up:

The push button is just an on/off there is no dimming on that button.

When you turn on the light through the app it shows the watt's usage, but if you turn on the light by pressing the switch the app(shellybox) still considers it being off. Its like the on/off switch on the wall doesn't register with the shelly box.

    Thanks

    Hi Gents,

Im going to do the best explaining my weird situation.

I had electrician install Dimmer2, now he said he has done it correctly, and it does have a neutral wire. The Wall switch is a push button (you push and unit goes click and goes back to original position)

Dimmer works but, if the lights have been turned on through the dimmer(through www) if you then press the button at the wall it just makes the light brighter and if you push the button again it brings the lights back to the level it was before. If you turn of lights with the dimmer(www) and then press the button on the wall switch the light goes on, but the dimmer does not recognize that the light is on. Thus if you turn on dimmer lights stay the same and if you turn of dimmer, light stays on, until you press the button on the wall switch again. I have tried changing the settings, and still doesn't change anything.

    Settings currently are :

    Power On Default:

    Restore last mode

    Button Type,

    Edge Switch

I really appreciate any information or help. I am hoping i can get this to work, so i can install many Dimmer2 in the house. :)

    Thanks
