Yes
Hi,
I have recently purchase a Shelly EM & 2x 50A clamps to be monitor my home consumption.
Unfortunately, I have stumbled in some issues. The first one was that the device was not powering on, I have left it about 30mins – 1h and it started to work out of nowhere. I managed to connect it to my WiFi, but now I have stumbled in a second issue the power consumption shows 0W on both channels.
Worth mentioning, my house is powered by 230V single phase. The Switch works to be toggled and only the voltage is displayed. The transformers are placed on the same circuit at the moment in opposite directions, this should not influence the measurements as they are independent channels.
I have tryed the following in order to try to solve the issue, but did not help:
1. Downgrade and Upgrade the firmware to different versions
2. Power shelly from different circuit breakers
3. Place the transformers on different circuits (both on Live and on Neutral)
4. Rotate the transformers on different circuits
5. Device Reboots
6. Factory Resets
7. Enable Log File, only VMIN & VMAX are shown, no other data.
I have raised this issue with Shelly Tech Support, waiting for a response.
No idea what else to try. I suspect is a hardware issue and the device needs to be replaced.
Any other troubleshooting ideas are welcomed.
Kind regards,
Alin
