What is the condition? No current consumption, or a certain hour? Or another condition?

I believe you are aware that shelly devices can only work in 2.4Gh mode and therefore you must have disabled 5Ghz transmission, then it can only be in that compatibility.

Or, are you saying if I temporarily revert to the old name (to get back comms with the Shelly's ) that I can then tell them about the new SSID?
And then I can reset the new router to the new SSID?
It is one of the possible ways.
It is possible to set two SSID accesses in the device settings. See picture. In the second case, a new SSID can be set.
I suggest add a shared connection from the other phone with network access, on which the old SSID and password will be set.
After that, you will be able to connect to the shelly device, where you can set new SSID to which the device will be redirected.

If it were a small current consumption of up to 2500W, then a smart socket with consumption measurement and a script for automatic shutdown would be enough. The smart socket can be turned on manually at any time with one button.
